Update on Solihull’s Housing and Economic Land Assessment

TP Editorial Team

Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council has confirmed that it is currently working on the evidence documents of its Strategic Housing and Economic Land Availability Assessment (SHELAA) which aims to be published with updated 5-year housing land supply figures around October 2016. At the same time the Council anticipates consulting on their draft Local Plan.

Solihull’s call for sites within the Borough ended in January 2016 and the Council has published a summary of representations received and the Council’s response to the Local Plan Review Scope, Issues and Options consultation. The Council’s response to individual sites put forward under the SHELAA has not yet been published.
