Dudley adopts Borough Development Strategy and Town Centre AAP

TP Editorial Team

Dudley Borough Council has adopted their Borough Development Strategy and their Town Centre Area Action Plan (AAP) on 27th February at a meeting of Full Council.

Both the Dudley Borough Development Strategy and the Dudley AAP set out a vision, objectives and spatial strategy for future development within the Borough up to 2026 and are now part of Dudley’s Local Plan. They contain land use policies and site allocations on which future planning decisions will be based.

Together, the two documents replace what remains of the Unitary Development Plan (2005) which is to be revoked in due course
