Extensions approved to existing restaurant at luxury hotel

TP Editorial Team

The Tyler Parkes team is pleased to have obtained planning permission for extensions to an existing restaurant at the luxury Lion Quays Hotel & Spa.

The hotel is a successful enterprise located to the east of the A5 approx. 1.8 km to the north of Gobowen in Shropshire. It lies immediately to the south of the Shropshire Union Canal Llangollen Branch.

The development proposes an extension to the existing restaurant enclosing the outside terrace. The proposed extension would be of an attractive and outstanding design and is wholly appropriate for the site. It aligns with all relevant national and local planning policies in that it supports an existing business.

Shropshire Council agreed with our view and granted planning permission accordingly
