Coventry Local Plan Consultation
Coventry City Council is now consulting on the Coventry Local Plan (Regulation 19 – Proposed Submission Plan).
The Proposed Submission Plan sets out the final version of the Local Plan before it is submitted to the Secretary of State for Examination in Public (EiP). Coventry City Council previously consulted on its review of the Local Plan in the summer of 2023. The responses to that consultation have informed the preparation of the Proposed Submission Version of the Local Plan currently out to consultation.
The Proposed Submission Plan sets out a strategy for how much, where, and what type of development will take place in the City up to 2041 (the plan period), as well as providing planning policies and site allocations to guide changes and new development proposals including housing, employment, retail and leisure.
The consultation runs from Monday 20th January until Monday 3rd March 2025. Information on the consultation can be found here:
