Wyre Forest District Council Adopt New Local Plan

John Baggott

Following approval at their Full Council Meeting on 26 April 2022, Wyre Forest District Council adopted its new Wyre Forest District Local Plan (2016-2036) with immediate effect.

The new Local Plan replaces the Council’s previous Core Strategy (2010), Site Allocations and Policies Local Plan (2013), and the Kidderminster Central Area Action Plan (2013), which will all no longer form part of the Development Plan.

The Local Plan is now subject to a six-week legal challenge period, which will end on 7 June 2022.
